Although there was no official press release, the Minnesota Vikings have waived defensive lineman Scott Crichton.
A former third-round pick out of Oregon State, Crichton never fully developed to be the pass-rusher that many envisioned him to be. Part of that was his inability to develop while the other part was his struggle to stay healthy.
Since he was chosen in the 2014 NFL Draft, Crichton has appeared in 21 games for Minnesota and totaled 10 combined tackles.
