It's one of the hardest parts of watching the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament, seeing a group of 18, 19 and 20-year old kids play their hearts out only to lose in gut-wrenching fashion. For the University of Kentucky and De'Aaron Fox, that is exactly what happened on Sunday against North Carolina.
After a huge three-pointer tied the game with just a few seconds remaining, North Carolina hit a jumper with just 0.3 seconds remaining to send Kentucky to defeat. After the loss, seemingly nobody took it harder than Kentucky guard De'Aaron Fox.
In an emotional post-game interview, Fox spoke about how much he loved his teammates and how difficult the loss was as he battled through tears.
It is a game and there's certainly a winner and a loser but dang does it suck to be the loser.
