WATCH: Kentuky Fans Go From Elation To Heartbreak In A Matter Of Seconds

It was a very tough Sunday for University of Kentucky fans as they watched their team take on the University of North Carolina in the Elite Eight round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament.

The Wildcats fought with No. 1 seeded UNC the whole game and with less than 10 seconds remaining, hit a huge three-pointer to tie the game. Kentucky and their fans were elated as they presumably believed the game was set for overtime. Unfortunately that would not be the case.

Tar Heels Lue Maye hit a jumper from the left elbow with just 0.3 seconds remaining to send North Carolina back to the Final Four and subsequently breaking the hearts of Wildcat fans everywhere. And believe me, the heartbreak can be felt.

Local news cameras caught the reactions of Kentucky fans throughout the state as the game came to its conclusion and it's pretty easy to tell exactly when both shots occur.

Tar Heel fans everywhere can certainly empathize with Kentucky fans after last year's National Championship game in which they took on Villanova and, after hitting a huge three of late, lost on a buzzer-beating shot, going from elation to heartbreak as the Wildcats and their fans did on Sunday.
