Texans J.J. Watt Surprised His Former Fourth-Grade Teacher Upon Hearing She Was Retiring

Houston Texans Defensive End J.J. Watt is truly one of the good guys of the NFL and he proved that once again on Tuesday.

When Watt heard that his former fourth-grade teacher was retiring from teaching after 41 years, the four-time Pro Bowler decided to surprise her by bringing her a cake, a pair of his signature shoes and an invitation to his celebrity softball game.

Watt broadcast the video over Facebook Live and shared a few short memories of his favorite teacher including how she was the one who told him he could play for the Wisconsin Badgers. He did just that and is now arguably the best defensive player in the NFL.
