I'm not entirely sure where this idea came from but a guy at Mashable had a thought yesterday. Seemingly out of the blue this guy wanted to find out how old Mario is. What he found out horrified him and sent him into a spiral that we can all relate with.

Okay, a few things here. Mario doesn't age with the real world, he is inevitably forever whatever age he was originally back in 1985 when Super Mario Brothers debuted on the NES. Now that that's out of the way, THERE'S NO WAY THAT THIS OVERALL CLAD, MUSTACHIOED MAN IS ONLY 26 YEARS OLD!
I'm not sure what a 26 year old looks like in Italy, but pop-culture has told me that it looks much more like "The Situation" and Paul D thank it does like Mario. I mean, I'm 31 and Mario has to be way older than me...right?
Apparently not...I'm not sure how to feel about this.
