Growing up I never really took any super bad beat at the plate. Sure I was hit by a bean ball but never anything crazy. Still, I developed a wicked step out of the box as I was afraid of the ball coming towards home plate. With that stellar experience in my back pocket, I'm not sure how in the world Chris Ianetta will ever step back into the batter's box after taking this pitch right in the face!!!
