The Seattle Seahawks blew out Peyton Manning & the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII after the 2013 season. It got ugly quickly for the Sheriff.
Then, the very next year, Seattle was back at it in SB XLIX against the New England Patriots. The Seahawks were looking for back-to-back Lombardi trophies and were at the goal line with a chance to win. Should they have run the ball with Marshawn Lynch? People still argue about that. Patriots rookie CB Malcolm Butler jumped a route and picked off Russell Wilson's pass, securing a 4th Super Bowl win for Tom Brady and the New England fanbase. Gut wrenching.
PA caught up with Seattle radio host (KJR) Dave "Softy" Mahler to hear his memories on the ups and downs of that 2-year stretch.
