LANDOVER, Md. -- Minnesota Vikings sacks leader Everson Griffen was inactive for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.
Griffen, who is third in the NFL with 10 sacks, has a foot injury and was listed as questionable, but Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said during the week he expected Griffen would play.
Griffen has a sack in eight straight games, tying him with Jim Marshall and Jared Allen for the team record.
The Vikings were also without starting right tackle Mike Remmers (concussion). Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, activated this week, was active.
The Redskins, meanwhile, are healing from their rash of injuries. They had their entire starting offensive line active, though it was uncertain if they would all play.
Several Washington starters were inactive, including tight end Jordan Reed (hamstring), safety Montae Nicholson (shoulder) and defensive end Matt Ioannidis (hand).
