Gophers center barred from campus until 2020 after Sexual Assault Ruling

News broke last night that Minnesota Golden Gophers starting center Reggie Lynch was found "responsible" in a sexual misconduct ruling laid out by the Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action (EOAA).

The ruling stems around an incident which occurred inside Roy Wilkins Hall student dormitory on April 28th, 2016.

Lynch has a chance to appeal, but faces a ban from campus until 2020 and suspension from the basketball team. If he chooses the route of appeal the Student Sexual Misconduct Subcommittee (SSMS) will render a their own ruling. If no appeal is filed, Lynch's campus barring begins next Tuesday, January 9th.
