Vikings open the week as Vegas favorites over Saints in NFC Divisional Rd

We finally know who the Vikings will be playing in next week's divisional round playoff matchup at U.S. Bank Stadium. After beating the Carolina Panthers in a thriller at home, the New Orleans Saints will be heading up to Minnesota to take on the Vikings.

The Saints and the Vikings met in the first week of the 2017 season on Monday night at U.S. Bank Stadium and the Vikings walked away from that game victorious winning 29-19. That said, those were two VERY different teams.

For one, Sam Bradford was the starting quarterback for the Vikings in that game and had the best game of his career. Completing 27 of his 32 passes, Bradford passed for 346 yards, three touchdowns and a passer rating of 143.0. On the other side, the starting running back was some guy named Adrian Peterson.

Since then, both team's have found their identity and will approach this game with different levels of confidence that they brought into their opening week matchup.

According to the experts in Vegas, the Vikings will opening the week as 3.5 point favorites at home. Home team's typically get about a 3-point advantage with the built in comforts of their facilities and their fans so they're predicting a pretty close matchup between the Vikes and Saints next weekend. The over/under is also set at 45 points.

Next week's game kicks off at 3:40pm and can be heard on KFAN 100.3 FM.
