When I was little, I was at the driving range in Burnsville, the one right along 35W there and a guy I was golfing with (who will remain nameless so PETA doesn't get involved) struck a drive. It was probably his best drive of the day and as it was floating through the air it made a dead stop and dropped to the ground having struck a bird mid-flight some 200, 250 yards out there. I'm not sure what happened to the bird cuz I wasn't gonna run out on the middle of the driving range and give it mouth to mouth, but alas I'll never forget that.
So this weekend, Tiger woods hit a bird too. This one though was just taking a little stroll right down the fairway when Tiger's drive came bouncing through.
