Case Keenum is heading to Denver, will sign with Broncos on Wednesday

Case Keenum was all smiles Monday night as he nailed a free throw for charity at the Houston Rockets game. Little did we now he was smiling because he was close to finalizing a deal with the Denver Broncos.

Well, overnight the intentions for the first quarterback on the market we’re released. Former Vikings quarterback Case Keenum will be signing with the Denver Broncos as free agency opens on Wednesday.

Adam Schefter has it first and as he said it’s rhe first quarterback domino to fall in this race for free agents.

Keenum started 15 games for the Vikings this season and led the team to the NFC Championship loss in Philadelphia. Still, as free agency opened up for negotiations yesterday the thought was that the Vikings, and Keenum would both be moving on.

Rumors say the deal will Ben in the ballpark of three years, $18-$20 million.

The announcement of Keenum’s intentions will likely expedite the rest of the quarterback process that will include somebody needing to come to Minnesota, will that be Cousins?
