(Minneapolis, MN)  --  Mitch Garver smacked a go-ahead solo homer in the seventh inning, the first long ball of his career, as the Twins topped the Mariners 4-2 in their home opener at Target Field.  Miguel Sano tied the game with a two-run blast in the sixth, while Eddie Rosario added a solo shot in the eighth for some insurance for Minnesota.  Zach Duke picked up the win and Fernando Rodney notched his first save as the Twins improved to 4-and-2 on the season.  Mitch Haniger and Daniel Vogelbach plated the runs for Seattle, which slipped to 3-and-3.  Dan Altavilla took the loss.
