(Minneapolis, MN) -- Jose Berrios struck out 11 over seven innings as the Twins shutout the White Sox 4-0 in the first of four at Target Field. Berrios held Chicago to three hits on the way to 2-and-1. Joe Mauer had two singles and three RBI, scoring Brian Dozier twice, who had the other RBI. Minnesota has won three straight to improve to 7-and-4. Mauer reached 2,000 career hits in the victory. Lucas Giolito pitched into the seventh inning despite walking five and allowing four runs, three earned. Giolito is 0-and-2. The White Sox have fallen to 4-and-8 after a 2-and-0 start to the season.
