Tonight's Twins game in Jeopardy as all of Puerto Rico is without power...

(San Juan)  --  Hurricane-torn Puerto Rico is in the midst of an island-wide power outage.  The island's power authority estimates it will take 24 to 36 hours to restore power.  Power outages are nothing new to the U.S. commonwealth.  The island has experienced several of them, including one last week, since the devastation wrought by Hurricane Maria seven months ago.  About 40-thousand people were still without power when the latest blackout hit.

Yesterday, the Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Indians played in front of a sellout crowd of 19,516 fans at Estadio Hiram Bithorn in San Juan. Given the uncertainty surrounding today's power outage, tonight's game is in serious jeopardy of getting in.

Puerto Rico native Jose Berrios is scheduled to pitch tonight's game.

*UPDATE: The group putting on the game tonight has confirmed that they will have generators on site so the game should not be impacted due to the outage...
