Coming off one of the best seasons in the franchise's storied history, the Minnesota Vikings were expecting to get a little extra attention on the national scene as the 2018 schedule was set to be released.

There hopes were dashes slightly as they lost out on the season opener against the Eagles, instead hosting the 49ers in week 1 at home, but Minnesota still landed four primetime games on this years upcoming schedule.

First, the Vikings will get their Thursday Night Football game out of the way in Week 4 (September 27th) against Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams on the road in LA.

Second comes a Sunday Night Football game against the New Orleans Saints at home in Week 8 (October 28th) as the Vikings look to continue success against Drew Brees after last year's Minneapolis Miracle.

Next up comes another Sunday night game against the rivaled Green Bay Packers in Week 11 (November 25th) at home.

Finally, a Monday Night Football Game against the Seattle Seahawks on December 12th on the road.
