(St. Petersburg, FL) -- Carlos Gomez clubbed a walkoff two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Rays past the Twins 8-6 at Tropicana Field. Adeiny Hechavarria hit a three-run blast in the sixth that gave Tampa a 6-3 lead before Minnesota rallied. C.J. Cron had a two-run homer in the first inning for the Rays, who swept the three-game series and improved to 8-and-13 overall. Alex Colome picked up the win. Brian Dozier's two-run single in the eighth inning tied the game for the Twins, who dropped to 8-and-8 on the year. Addison Reed took the loss.
