Starting right away after the draft concluded on Saturday afternoon Rick Spielman, Mike Zimmer and the Minnesota Vikings coaching staff immediately hit the phones and started working deals to get undrafted free agents in the door for the team's upcoming Rookie Mini Camp.
Remember, the Vikings have had some success with undrafted free agents as of late with Adam Thielen and Marcus Sherels both notably making an impact in the league. But even last season alone, the Vikings brought 3 undrafted players onto their 53-man roster to start the season with Tashawn Bower, Eric Wilson and Aviante Collins.
