The Minnesota Vikings have nearly 70-players on site at their new training facility in Eagan this weekend for a 3-day Rookie Minicamp where head coach Mike Zimmer and the rest of his staff hope to get a good first look at their draft picks, undrafted free agents and tryout invitees from all across the country.

Included in that group are four (4) players that were invited to the team's Top-30 event last month leading up to the 2018 NFL Draft.

Obviously, their first round pick CB Mike Hughes was on that top-30 list, he is on hand this weekend and seems to be taking direction from the coaching staff well.

In addition to the draftees on hand, three more players that were brought on as Undrafted Free Agents were also invited to the team's Top-30 gathering this season.

Wide receivers Jake Wieneke (South Dakota State) and Jeff Badet (Oklahoma) joined cornerback Holton Hill (Texas) as a few of the team's Top-30 players that became available as undrafted talent.

These three UFDA players along with the 59 others on hand this weekend will be looking to follow in the footsteps of players like Adam Thielen, Marcus Sherels, C.J. Ham, Tashawn Bower, Eric Wilson and Avianta Collins to go get an invitation to Training Camp and the potential to contribute on the team's 53-man roster or practice squad to start the season.
