Army soldier found guilty of cutting parachute straps on Humvees | KFAN

A soldier in the U.S. Army was found guilty this week after he cut the straps on the parachutes of three army vehicle Humvees resulting in their complete destruction.

According to Fox News:

The Army said in a statement to Fox News that Sgt. John T. Skipper, 29, was found guilty in a court-martial of three instances of destroying military property worth over $500 and lying during the official criminal investigation.

The incident was video taped and uploaded to YouTube. The video (posted below) shows the vehicles exiting the plan and plummeting to the earth where they exploded into a pile of rubble and dust.

"Skipper was sentenced to a reduction in grade to E1 and a Bad Conduct Discharge by a court-martial panel consisting of enlisted soldiers and officers," the Army said.
