He was supposed to be the next big thing when he announced his intentions to transfer to Minnesota, one semester and only one spring game later and quarterback Vic Viramontes will be transferring away from the University of Minnesota.
Word on the street is that the whole QB things wasn’t working out for Viramontes at the Division One level and he has intentions to move to LB going forward. That’s not in the plans for the Gophers and Vic will transfer back to JUCO in California to be closer to home.
