McNitt (6-2, 250) joins the Vikings after being waived by the Atlanta Falcons on August 20, 2018. The Kearney, Nebraska native signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent and saw action in two preseason games, tallying two special teams tackles. While with the Cornhuskers, McNitt played in 30 games over three seasons, serving as a team captain in 2017, contributing on both offense and special teams. McNitt transferred to Nebraska after spending one season at Nebraska-Kearney, where he played in 10 games as a quarterback in 2013. McNitt joins fellow Nebraska native and Cornhusker alum Tyler Hoppes on the Vikings roster.

Iloka (6-4, 225) joins Minnesota as a free agent following his release from the Cincinnati Bengals on August 19, where he spent the first seven years of his NFL career. While with the Bengals, Iloka tallied 230 total tackles, nine interceptions, and two fumbles in 83 career games, 76 of which were starts. Iloka’s 230 tackles as a Bengal are the 10th most by a defensive back in the team’s history. Iloka spent the 2012 and 2013 seasons playing under Mike Zimmer during Zimmer’s tenure as the Bengal’s defensive coordinator, and will join former Cincinnati teammate Terence Newman on the Vikings roster.
