According to multiple reports former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been traded from the New York Jets to the New Orleans Saints where he is expected to fill in as Drew Brees' new backup.
Bridgewater suffered a career threatening knee injury nearly two years ago to the day. The road to recovery has been a long and arduous one in which Teddy signed with the Jets in free agency only to have the team draft Sam Darnold.
Following a solid preseason, Teddy found a way to get out from behind the rookie, back up Brees and potentially serve as the QB of the future for the Saints.
