With more than 1,000 players set to be cut throughout the NFL this weekend, trade rumors are starting to pop up amongst teams that have a need but don't want to mess with the waiver wire priority list.
The Vikings are one of those teams and now we're starting to hear reports of names of players that might be part of those conversations.
According to Albert Breer on Twitter, CB Marcus Sherels is one such name.
Trades coming, and we had names on the block in yesterday's mailbag. Among them: Steelers QB Josh Dobbs, Vikings CBs Marcus Sherels, Lions RB Ameer Abdullah, Packers WR Trevor Davis, Raiders DL Mario Edwards, and Texans WR Braxton Miller. Another name popped onto the radar after an apparent blunder from ProFootballTalk.com as an article was posted in regards to CB Mackensie Alexander and a trade with the Chiefs. The article has since been removed and no other rumblings of such a deal are out there now.
Either way, things are heating up and with many decisions to be made the Vikings might be active as cuts come tomorrow.
