Amidst their final roster moves to get their team down to 53-men, the Minnesota Vikings activated injured center Pat Elflein from the Physically Unable to Perform list.
Elflein has missed the entirety of the 2018 preseason recovering from knee and shoulder surgeries but had seemingly been making progress along the way.
His activation from the PUP list is a great sign for the team but it doesn't guarantee that he'll be ready for week one. Only that they expect him to return before week 6, which would be the required sit out date if he started the season on the PUP.
