News broke earlier this week that the Minnesota Timberwolves had agreed to a one-year deal with former Chicago Bulls player Luol Deng. This is significant because it's continues head coach and general manager Tom Thibideau's rebuilding of the 2011-2012 Chicago Bulls team that rattled off a 50-16 regular season record.
It started with trading for Jimmy Butler, then acquiring Taj Gibson...then he signed Derrick Rose midseason last year and now he's added Luol Deng.
It's crazy, it really is. Most of these players are long past their prime and considered NBA leftovers right now. But it's garnered the Timberwolves a fantastic new nickname and has opened up the gates to let the entire Internet troll Thibs and the Wolves all season long.
I present to you the "TimberBulls"...
