After cutting ties with rookie kicker Daniel Carlson after his 0-3 day on Sunday in Green Bay, reports are now surfacing that the Vikings will be signing free agent kicker Dan Bailey.
Statistically, Bailey is the second most accurate career kicker of all time with an 88.2% rate kicking field goals.
His time in Dallas came to an end over a dispute with money and Bailey remained on the free agent market until yesterday's disaster at Lambeau.
Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer confirmed at Monday's press conference that Bailey was in fact coming to town for a physical. It is expected that the deal will become official today allowing the team and Bailey to get back to business on the football field.
