It was a relatively quiet day for Jimmy Butler news when it comes to the Minnesota Timberwolves, but late in the evening we got a little more confirmation that a divorce between the two sides is imminent.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, despite Thibs' best efforts today in Minnesota, Butler will be holding out from Wolves training camp beginning tomorrow and will continue to do so until his wish to be traded is honored.
It feels like the Miami Heat are presently the leaders in the clubhouse but we've heard rumors that the Cavs have also been in the mix of late.
Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor seems to be pushing for a deal to be finalized sooner rather than later so buckle up Wolves fans!
