Following the release of reports this evening claiming that Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen is dealing with some "serious personal-health" related issues, the Vikings general manager Rick Spielman has released a statement about the situation.
"We are aware of the situation involving Everson Griffen and certainly concerned by what we have heard. We are currently focused on Everson's well-being and providing the appropriate support for him and his family." - Rick Spielman
Griffen remains away from the team and his status for Thursday's game is unknown.
