HOLY SMOKES!
Just when you thought this story with Jimmy Butler couldn't get any more strange or aggressive, it does in a GIGANTIC way today in Minneapolis!
According to Woj and sources at ESPN, Butler showed up to Timberwolves practice today and practiced with his teammates. Strange right? Remember, just yesterday Butler had claimed that he was putting a deadline to be traded as this Friday.
But this was no regular practice.
According to Wojnarowski Butler's practice session included him "verbally challenging teammates, coaches and front office."
Here's the money quote, "at one point Butler turned to GM Scott Layden and screemed, 'You (bleeping) need me. You can't win without me."
Yikes!
I have no idea what this means for his future with the Wolves, but it doesn't look good.
