I've learned over the years that I can be a bit of a softy. Getting married and having kids has only heightened that sense of emotions within me so it's no surprise that I would get emotional and tear up watching the video below. But I would contest that even the tiniest, Grinchiest little hearted person out there would get kicked straight in the feels when they watch as a colorblind correctional deputy from Humbolt County in California is gifted the gift of color.
The Deputies coworkers banded together to purchase him EnChroma glasses which allow users who are colorblind to see color for the first time. And as he put it so eloquently, his eyes were opened up to "a different world."
