The Minnesota Twins have added a first baseman to their roster today after claiming C.J. Cron off waivers from the Tampa Bay Rays.
According to the P.R. Twitter account of Dustin Morse...
"Cron played in 140 games for the Rays last season, hitting .253 (127-for-501) with 28 doubles, 30 home runs, 74 RBI and a .323 on-base percentage."
Cron was drafted by the Angels 17th overall in the first round back in 2011 and has played parts of five seasons with the Angels and Rays.
After the move, the Minnesots Twins roster is now sitting at 39 players as of Monday, November 26th.
