"It's more about us right now..." Dalvin Cook not focused on the Patriots

For the Minnesota Vikings there might be a tendency this week in particular to look across the line of scrimmage and add some extra intimidation to the mix.

It's Tom Brady. It's Bill Belichick. It's the New England Patriots.

Nobody could fault them for those feelings, the Patriots have been the best and most consistent team in the league over the past two decades.

Still, as running back Dalvin Cook shared in the locker room today, it's not time to focus in on New England, it's time to look at Minnesota.

"We're not going to get caught up in that whole scenario," Cook said. "We're just going to get caught up in us playing good football. That's what we've got to focus on...we respect Tom [Brady], we respect the Patriots and everything that they're doing. It's more about us at this point, about how we're playing football and the little things that we're doing."
