A 7-year old "toy-reviewer" made $22 million on YouTube this year!!!

Did you know you can make money on YouTube?

For most of us, any and all income made from posting videos to YouTube is simply pennies on the dollar for ads that are placed in, on and around your videos. But when your videos get millions and millions of views, it's all treated a little differently and you could potentially live in a much different tax bracket than the rest of us.

For instance, Forbes magazine released their annual list of the highest-paid YouTube stars and topping the chart this year is a 7-year old boy who made TWENTY-TWO MILLION DOLLARS THIS YEAR!

Now, my family is very familiar with this boy, Ryan, and his YouTube channel, Ryan's Toy Reviews. It is exactly what  it sounds like, a kid who reviews toys with his mom and dad and they make cool videos about them.

If you're a parent, odds are you're familiar with Ryan, his mom and his dad...and you probably rolled your eyes right along with me.  I mean, the kids got personality, the videos are well done and edited nicely, but at the end of the day, it's just reviewing and playing with a toy.

Currently, the channel has 17,332,437 subscribers, I which I am no longer one of as it didn't bring out the best behaviors for our 4-year old, but man does he LOVE those videos. The reviews scratch an itch for young kids and curious imaginations alike, but to the tune of $22 million??? That's a little nuts.

Others showing up on the Top-10 earners list include Jake Paul ($21.5MM), DudePerfect ($20MM), PewDiePie ($15.5MM) and more.
