It's official, Google won the Internet yesterday!
The search engine, ruler of the world dropped a one-minute ad to the web yesterday that is a bit of a shot-for-shot remake of the movie Home Alone only it depicts how Kevin McCallister would have fended off the wet bandits with the help of Google Assistant.
Better yet, they were able to get a 38-year old Macaulay Culkin to sign on and play the starting role in the reprise!
It's fantastic for all of the nostalgic reasons you would think of but then it also showcases many of the really cool things that the Google assistant (tied in with a bunch of Nest devices, which they leave out) can do.
