The Cleveland Browns have made their decision as to who will serve as the head coach for their team in 2019, it wasn't Kevin Stefanski.

In choosing the other finalist, the Vikings are now expected to retain Stefanski as their offensive coordinator for the 2019 season.

Stefanski went through two rounds of interviews with the Browns and was considered to be one of their final two candidates. The Browns opted to roll with Freddie Kitchens and the Vikings longest tenured coach will remain in tact.

Stefanski took over play calling duties when the team parted ways with John DeFilippo with three games left in the season and the Vikings offense showed some spark.

There are high hopes for what Stefanski and Cousins can do with another year together under their belt and it looks like they're about to get there wish.

Technically, Stefanski is a free agent coach as of his contract expiration yesterday, but it is assumed that he will soon be named the full time offensive coordinator for the Vikings heading into next season.
