Yannick Ngakoue was PFF’s highest graded Viking in Indianapolis

Minnesota Vikings v Indianapolis Colts

There weren’t many positives that came out of the Vikings week two performance against the Colts. The Vikings have struggled tremendously over the first two games of the season, but one of those struggles turned into a strength in Indianapolis.

After a sub-par performance in his first Vikings game, defensive end Yannick Ngakoue bounced back against a team that he has familiarity with. He was PFF’s highest rated Viking from Sunday with an overall grade of 82.2.

PFF credited Ngakoue with four total pressures on 25 passing attempts. He finished the day with three tackles, a sack and a forced fumble that the Colts ended up recovering.

It’s not always easy to find the bright spots in a game that turned out to be poor in so many areas, but Ngakoue showed what he is capable of. When the Vikings get Danielle Hunter back in their lineup they will have one of the top pass rushing duos in the entire NFL.
