Earlier this week Justin Jefferson addressed the media and told reporters that he is ready to take some of the pressure off of Adam Thielen and the Vikings offense. He has done more than that through the first three quarters of football, scoring his first touchdown and making the score 24-12.
Jefferson now has seven catches for 175 yards and a touchdown. He has shown off his ability to go up and win the jump ball, his speed and his yards after catch ability against the Titans.
Through the first two games of the season the Vikings struggled to get the ball in the hands of their best playmakers. Gary Kubiak has came out swinging with his play calling this afternoon and it has shown how good the Vikings offense can be.
The Vikings desperately needed to have a turnaround game this week and Jefferson has put on a show in his second career game at U.S. Bank Stadium.
After the Jefferson score the Titans marched down the field and capitalized with a Derrick Henry touchdown. The score with just under four minutes to play is now 24-19.
