Titans pull eight positive COVID-19 tests, Vikings suspend activities

Tennessee Titans v Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings just hosted the Tennessee Titans and the 0-3 start isn’t the only negative coming out of the game. Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported Tuesday morning that the Titans had three players and five personnel test positive for COVID-19.

This is the first outbreak that the NFL has discovered and it just so happens that it was on the team playing the Vikings last weekend. Pelissero also tweeted out the statement from the Titans organization.

As the week goes on this is something to keep an eye on. Leading up to this point, the only outbreak that occurred in the NFL was due to a bad set of tests that ended up being all false positives.

The Vikings have suspended all in-person activities for the time being, as they were getting set for a road game against the Houston Texans this coming Sunday. If positive tests start to pop up within the Vikings organization, the status of Sunday’s game could be in jeopardy.
