The Minnesota Vikings got lucky with their first COVID-19 scare when none of their players tested positive after playing the Tennessee Titans. Their game on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons is now in jeopardy, as Adam Schefter reported Thursday morning that they’ve shut down their facility due to positive cases.
Here is the statement from the Atlanta Falcons as they are working virtually today.
It will be interesting to see how the NFL accommodates this week, with several games already being moved around. It’s possible that the Vikings have a Tuesday night game, similar to how the Titans and Bills game was pushed back.
The NFL may run out of options if these outbreaks continue around the league. With the schedule being so particular and only 17 weeks long, things are going to get interesting as cases around the league increase.
