Vikings place Cameron Dantzler on reserve/COVID-19 list

Green Bay Packers v Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings have a difficult matchup with the Green Bay Packers on Sunday and they could be without one of their starting cornerbacks.

The team announced Wednesday afternoon that Cameron Dantzler has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Dantzler wasn’t the only cornerback not practicing on Wednesday, as Mike Hughes and Holton Hill both missed as well.

This isn’t good news for the Vikings secondary, who got torched by Aaron Rodgers and company in week one. It gives more of an opportunity for Jeff Gladney and Harrison Hand to show off their skill sets against a future first ballot Hall of Fame quarterback.
