Vikings leading Lions 20-10 as the second half begins

Detroit Lions v Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings had their biggest win of the season last week against the Packers and they have shown no signs of slowing down this week. Through two quarters of play the Vikings are leading the Lions 20-10.

Last week was the Dalvin Cook show and he’s been on fire through the first half of today’s game. He’s carried the ball nine times for 66 yards and a touchdown and also caught two passes for 46 yards.

Kirk Cousins is completing over 81 percent of his passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns. His first touchdown was Irv Smith’s first touchdown of the season and the second was to former Lion Ameer Abudllah to close out the first half.

The Vikings offense has been clicking well since Cook returned and has shown off how impressive the unit can be when fully healthy.
