Vikings will be without Cameron Dantzler and Irv Smith Jr. in Chicago

Seattle Seahawks v Minnesota Vikings

The injury bug has hit the Vikings hard in 2020 and it hasn’t gotten better ahead of their Monday Night Football showdown with the Bears. The team will be without both Irv Smith Jr. and Cameron Dantzler for their fourth divisional game of the season.

Smith Jr. scored two touchdowns against the Lions last week before injuring his groin. Dantzler is still in concussion protocol after a scary looking head injury in Green Bay just a couple of weeks ago.

Not having two of their starters hurts the team not only in tonight’s game, but it also limits the reps for two up and coming players on this roster.

Soldier Field hasn’t treated the Vikings the best in recent memory, as they haven’t won a game there since 2017. Kyle Rudolph and Tyler Conklin will see an increased role in the offense, whereas Jeff Gladney and Kris Boyd will get another chance to show off their skill sets in the secondary.
