With the season only one day in the rear view mirror, rumors surrounding a coaching shakeup within Twin Cities Orthopedic Performance Center are already circling. Only, it's not exactly what you'd think.
According to Tom Peliserro of the NFL Network, Vikings offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak is leaning toward retirement.
As noted in the clip above, if this comes to fruition this would be the 6th offensive coordinator for Mike Zimmer and the Minnesota Vikings over the past six seasons. Likewise, it would become the fourth coordinator for Kirk Cousins into his fourth season with the Vikings.
One possible in house replacement could be Gary's son Klint Kubiak who is the teams QBs coach, though if the position opens the team will also interview outside candidates.
