With the 2020 NFL regular season coming to an end, the Top 18 picks for the 2021 NFL Draft are set in stone based on final records for those 18 teams.
You've probably heard that the Jacksonville Jaguars are slotted in for the #1 overall pick and are expected to take Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence. But where did the Vikings end up and how did their win on Sunday over the Lions impact their draft positioning?
The Vikings are officially slotted into the 14th selection in the NFL draft right behind the LA Chargers and in front of the New England Patriots. The win on Sunday over the Lions dropped the Vikings at least three spots in the order.
For context, three of the first 2021 Mock Drafts have the Vikings selecting DT Daviyon Nixon (Iowa), CB Patrick Surtain II (Miami) and OT Rashawn Slater (Northwestern).
Take that for what it's worth, but there's a lot that will change between now and the end of April.
