Timberwolves Hire Raptors Assistant To Head Coaching Position

(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Timberwolves are wasting no time in hiring a new coach, appointing Chris Finch as their new head man yesterday. Finch had been an assistant with the Toronto Raptors staff. The club fired coach Ryan Saunders on Sunday after their 103-99 loss against the New York Knicks.

The Timberwolves play their first game with new head coach Chris Finch tonight when they face the Bucks in Milwaukee. The Timberwolves are 2-for-8 in their last 10 matchups, sitting at 7-and-24 on their season. As of Monday, Jarrett Culver and D'Angelo Russell are out for tonight's game.
