Vikings fans got some good news early on Monday as it was reported that Danielle Hunter is set to report for mandatory minicamp on Tuesday.
Just a few hours after the reports came out of Hunter returning to the practice field, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the two parties have agreed on a reworked deal.
Keeping Hunter happy, and in Minnesota, was a critical aspect of the Vikings defense finding success again in 2021. The lack of a pass rush in 2020 was unusual in a Mike Zimmer led defense, and it sounds as if the band is back together before minicamp kicks off.
