Training camp kicks off for the Minnesota Vikings next week, but the team made headlines on Friday afternoon.

After reportedly refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccination, Vikings offensive line coach Rick Dennison is done with his coaching duties in Minnesota.

Courtney Cronin of ESPN also reported that Dennison is believed to be the first position coach in the NFL to part ways with his team due to not taking the vaccine.

Phil Rauscher will take over Dennison’s position of offensive line coach and run game coordinator. Prior to joining the Vikings in 2020, Rausher was Washington’s offensive line coach in 2019.
