The Minnesota Vikings announced Tuesday morning that they have activated rookie quarterback Kellen Mond from the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Mond will be available to return to practice and team activities as early as today.
Mond tested positive for COVID-19 on August 1st and was placed in a 10-day quarantine from team activities. Along with Mond, Kirk Cousins and Nate Stanley were placed in a 5-day quarantine as non-vaccinated close contacts to Mond. Following Mond's return, all three quarterbacks will have returned to practice.
