According to Michael Russo of The Athletic, the Minnesota Wild have checked one box off their offseason to-do list this morning as they have agreed to the terms of a one-year deal with forward Kevin Fiala.
Fiala and the Wild were set for an arbitration hearing tomorrow but will avoid that allowing both to hit the negotiating table again after the 2021-2022 season.
Kevin Fiala has 40 points (20G, 20A) for the Wild last season.
Minnesota will now continue their negotiations with their other young superstar Kirill Kaprizov.
